Free. - Reference data: Valid filter values and the technologies we track. Always free. - [List filter values](/docs/api-reference/reference-data/listValues): Valid values for a filter, with the number of companies that have each value (across all companies). Use these values in `/companies/search`, `/companies/count`, `/companies/similar`, `/pages/search` and `/job-postings/search`. Free. - [List technologies](/docs/api-reference/reference-data/listTechnologies): Every technology and service provider we track: tools found on company websites and in job postings, and providers named in subprocessor lists. Includes how many companies use each. Free. - [Get a technology](/docs/api-reference/reference-data/getTechnology): Profile of one technology: who makes it, its categories and the tools it integrates with. Free. - Companies: Resolve, look up and enrich companies you already know. - [Resolve a company](/docs/api-reference/companies/resolveCompany): Turn a name, domain or LinkedIn URL into a company. Returns the best match and, if you ask for them with `limit`, up to 4 alternatives (fewer if there aren't that many good candidates). Use it to get the domain to pass to other endpoints. Provide at least one of `name`, `domain` or `linkedin_url`. `confidence` (0–1) says how sure we are. Above 0.8 is usually right; below 0.5, check the alternatives. `match` is `null` when nothing is close enough. Free. Limited to 60 requests per minute. - [Get a company](/docs/api-reference/companies/getCompany): Basic company information is always returned. Long paragraphs are off by default; turn them on with `show_icp=true` (what they do and who they sell to), `show_pricing=true` (pricing page summary), `show_description=true` (long description) and `show_pages=true` (the most useful pages on their website, with URLs). Costs 1 lookup, free if the company is already paid for this billing month. Field meanings are on the Companies & IDs page. - [Enrich companies in bulk](/docs/api-reference/companies/enrichCompanies): Look up to 100 companies in one call, by domain or id (you can mix them). Accepts the same options as `GET /companies/{company}`: `show_icp`, `show_pricing`, `show_description` and `show_pages`. Results come back in the order you sent them; duplicates are returned once. Costs 1 lookup per company found that isn't already paid for this billing month. Companies we can't find are listed in `not_found` and aren't charged. If your allowance runs out partway, the companies it covered are returned and `usage.allowance_reached` is `true`. - Company data: Detailed data for one company: page summaries (pricing, legal, security and compliance, integrations and more), technologies, headcount, recent hires, funding and news. Free once the company is paid for this billing month. - [Get a page summary](/docs/api-reference/company-data/getCompanyPage): The summary of one page on a company's website, with its URL. Summaries are AI-written from the page. Costs 1 lookup, free if the company is already paid for this billing month. If we don't have that page type for the company you get a 404 that lists the page types we do have; it isn't charged. - [Get technologies](/docs/api-reference/company-data/getCompanyTechnologies): Every technology we have detected for the company: where we found it (`website` or `jobs`), when it was first seen and, if they stopped using it, when. `explanation` says in plain words what we found. Costs 1 lookup, free if the company is already paid for this billing month. - [Get headcount](/docs/api-reference/company-data/getCompanyHeadcount): Current headcount by department, and total headcount per month for the last 12 months. Costs 1 lookup, free if the company is already paid for this billing month. - [Get recent hires](/docs/api-reference/company-data/getCompanyHires): People who recently joined the company, counted by department and seniority, plus the most recent hires (up to 100). Departments come from `/values/hire_departments` and seniorities from `/values/hire_seniorities`. No names or personal details are returned. Costs 1 lookup, free if the company is already paid for this billing month. New hires usually appear 1–3 weeks after their start date. - [Get funding](/docs/api-reference/company-data/getCompanyFunding): Funding rounds, investors and acquisitions. Costs 1 lookup unless already paid for this billing month. - [Get news events](/docs/api-reference/company-data/getCompanyNews): Company news events such as launches, expansions, executive hires and funding. Costs 1 lookup unless already paid for this billing month. - Discovery: Find companies you don't know yet. Charged as discoveries. - [Count companies](/docs/api-reference/discovery/countCompanies): How many companies match a search, and how many of them would be newly charged. Optionally break the total down by up to 3 fields with `group_by`. Takes the same filters as `/companies/search`, plus `min_score`, so you can check a search before you pay for it. Free. Counts stop at a cap: 10,000 for filter-only counts, and 1,000 when you use `semantic_query` (the most a search can return). `total_capped: true` means there are more than `total`; add filters to narrow it down. Counts have their own rate limit: 30 per minute on every plan, and 500 per day on the Free plan. - [Search companies](/docs/api-reference/discovery/searchCompanies): Find companies with filters, a plain-language `semantic_query`, or both. **Order.** With `semantic_query`, results are sorted by `match.score` (relevance, blended with company size and web traffic by `semantic_weight`). Without it, larger companies with more web traffic come first. `query` and `semantic_query` can be used together: `query` narrows by name or domain, `semantic_query` ranks. **Cost.** 1 discovery per company returned that isn't already paid for this billing month, including companies on later pages. The `show_*` options cost nothing extra. Use `/companies/count` first; it's free. - [Find similar companies](/docs/api-reference/discovery/findSimilarCompanies): Companies similar to 1–10 seed companies you pass in `companies`, based on what they do and who they sell to. All search filters work on top. Results are sorted by `match.score` (similarity to the seeds). The seeds are the examples you give us. They are never returned in the results and aren't charged. Seeds we can't find are ignored; if none are found you get a 404. Costs 1 discovery per company returned that isn't already paid for this billing month. `query` and `semantic_query` aren't accepted here: the seeds describe what you're looking for. - [Search page summaries](/docs/api-reference/discovery/searchPages): Search inside the summaries of company web pages, optionally limited to some page types and to companies that match filters. Returns one result per company: its best-matching page. Sorted by `match.score`. Costs 1 discovery per company returned that isn't already paid for this billing month. - [List a vendor's customers](/docs/api-reference/discovery/listVendorCustomers): Companies that use a technology or service provider: named in their subprocessor list, detected on their website, or mentioned in their job postings. Narrow the list with the same company filters as search. Larger companies come first. Costs 1 discovery per company returned that isn't already paid for this billing month. To check how many you'd get first, use the free `/companies/count` with `vendors` (subprocessor lists) or `technologies` (website and job postings). - Job postings: Job postings by company or across all companies. - [List a company's job postings](/docs/api-reference/job-postings/listCompanyJobPostings): Job postings of one company, newest first. Open postings by default; pass `status=closed` or `status=all` to include postings that have closed. Costs 1 lookup unless the company is already paid for this billing month; all of its postings are then free. - [Get a job posting](/docs/api-reference/job-postings/getJobPosting): The full job posting, open or closed (`status` and `closed_on` show which). Costs 1 lookup for its company unless already paid for this billing month. - [Search job postings](/docs/api-reference/job-postings/searchJobPostings): Search job postings across companies. Results are grouped by company, newest postings first, and include only the postings that match (up to 10 per company). Costs 1 discovery per company returned that isn't already paid for this billing month. That covers all of that company's postings: listing them with `GET /companies/{company}/job-postings` is then free. - MCP - [MCP server](/docs/mcp): Use CompanySpec from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients. Coming soon. - Resources - [Errors](/docs/resources/errors): Every error has the same JSON shape, and none of them are charged. - [Rate limits](/docs/resources/rate-limits): Requests per minute by plan, and how to handle 429s. - [Changelog](/docs/resources/changelog): Changes to the API.
