Use hiring signals

Find companies that are hiring for, or have just hired, specific roles.

Two kinds of signal are available:

  • Open job postings: what a company plans to do.
  • Recent hires: who just joined, by department and seniority. See Recent hires.

Companies hiring for a role

Search postings directly. Results are grouped by company and include the matching postings. You pay 1 discovery per company, however many of its postings match.

curl https://api.companyspec.com/v1/job-postings/search \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $COMPANYSPEC_API_KEY" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "title": "revenue operations",
    "posted_within_days": 30,
    "company": { "countries": ["US"], "employees": ["51-200", "201-500"] },
    "limit": 25
  }'

Companies that just built a team

{
  "customer_types": ["B2B"],
  "recent_hires": { "departments": ["engineering"], "seniorities": ["director", "executive"], "within_days": 90 }
}

Send this to POST /companies/search to find B2B companies that hired an engineering leader in the last 90 days. New leaders often review tools and vendors in their first months.

A company's postings

GET /companies/{company}/job-postings costs 1 lookup per company per billing month and returns all of its open postings. Add status=closed or status=all to include postings that have closed, for example to see what a company was hiring for earlier in the year. Job posting search takes the same status option.
